The Papyrus mat puts a parchment texture under the square grid, so a hand-drawn dungeon looks like it belongs on an old explorer's map, while still wiping clean for the next session. At 80x80 cm it also gives you noticeably more room than the 50x50 cm version of the same mat.

Frequently asked questions

<details>

Is this the same as the hex-grid Papyrus mat?

No - this version uses a square grid, matching standard tactical movement rules.
