Hits & Crits Bushido Mats

Most battle mats are scenery. These were built as equipment. Designed in collaboration with members of the Bushido community per the product page, the Hits & Crits Bushido mats fold the game’s setup into the print itself: deployment areas and objective markings sit in the artwork, so the table is tournament-ready the moment the mat unrolls.

Four battlefields of the Jwar Isles’ spirit

• Fallen Leaves: an autumn garden where the ground itself seems to keep score.
• Jade Reed Thicket: dense green reeds for warbands that fight from cover.

Each is a Japanese-inspired environment painted for atmosphere first, with the markings worked into the scene rather than stamped over it. One listing, one mat in your chosen design.

The 2'x2' duel, taken seriously
Bushido plays on a 24"x24" table, and that compact format rewards precision: a quarter inch of deployment placement can decide a scenario. Printed markings remove the argument before it starts, and the measuring tape comes out less often.

The build
2 mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges. The mat grips the table, protects the miniatures that fall in battle, and rolls up for the trip to the club. The matching Zen Garden zone set from the Hits & Crits 2D terrain line completes the table in the same style.

Imagine the tournament hall: a dozen generic tables, and one autumn garden with the deployment lines already drawn. Everybody wants that one, and the player who brought it has already won the first exchange of the day.
