Mats Compatible with War Chest

War Chest ships as an abstract: hex positions, poker-weight coins, and a board that keeps things strictly functional. The game underneath, though, is a war story, and this mat lets the table say so. The playing fields are marked on a map drawn across an old, tattered scroll, as if two generals were pushing units over a campaign document that has survived several wars already.

Marked fields, honest coins
The field layout is printed where the game expects it, so setup is instant and positions stay unambiguous. The soft top keeps the game’s famous chunky coins from sliding when the table shakes, and the rubber backing keeps the whole battlefield from creeping during the lean-in moments that decide control points.

Built for the rematch
At 20"x16" / 50x40 cm the mat fits a head-to-head game with both players’ supplies and bags beside it, on a kitchen table or a cafe two-top. War Chest games end fast and demand a rematch; a mat that rolls out in two seconds keeps the series going. Per the product card the mat also protects the pieces from damage, which matters for a game whose coins are half the pleasure of owning it.

Why rubber
2 mm rubber with a printed soft top and laser-cut edges, the same build as our board game line. It rolls or folds into the War Chest box shelf, and a damp cloth cleans it after the campaign.

Imagine the fifth game of the night: the scroll map worn into the scene, coins clicking into marked fields, and the only thing moving on the border being the units ordered to.

Our mat is compatible with War Chest but is not an official product: it is not made, licensed or endorsed by Alderac Entertainment Group. Take the field.
