Industrial / Wood Mats

Most universal mats are a backdrop. Wood and industrial finishes are closer to a stage set: a grain or a scratch pattern that tells the eye this table has history, the way the tin and timber components of a lot of heavier eurogames do.

The wood finish
A warm, grained print that reads like real timber from across the table. It flatters almost anything: a worker-placement eurogame, a fantasy adventure box, a family game that just wants to look a little more like furniture than plastic.

Blue Scratches
A cooler-toned worn steel finish, for games that want a harder, more utilitarian look than wood grain offers: mechanical themes, sci-fi crossovers, or simply a table that reads as metal rather than timber.

Universal, not themed to one box
Like every universal mat, these carry a finish rather than a printed layout, so the same surface serves whatever game lands on it next: Wood for the gentle eurogame tonight, Blue Scratches for a harder-edged title tomorrow.

The build
47"x31.5" / 120x80 cm of 2 mm natural rubber with a soft polyester top, a single-sided sublimation print and laser-cut edges. The base grips the table, components lift cleanly off the fabric surface, and the mat rolls or folds away after the session.

Two finishes, one shelf
Keeping the range to two finishes is deliberate: Wood covers the warm end of the spectrum and Blue Scratches covers the cool end, so most tables find a match without scrolling through a dozen near-identical textures. Add a theme later and the shelf grows; until then, these two already answer most of what a game night asks for.

Imagine the table set for a heavy eurogame: wooden resource cubes on a wood-grain mat, and for a moment the components and the table stop looking like two different materials.
