2D Snow Terrains

A snow mat on its own is a white table. The game needs the things the snow is covering: a treeline, a frozen pond nobody trusts, a crater from last night’s bombardment, a road that is more slush than road. These pieces add all of that without a box of painted trees that shed flock in the car.

Winter terrain sets

• Winter Forest: three pieces of snow-covered woodland, 16.5x18, 17.5x17.5 and 17x13 cm, for a treeline that still counts as cover under the snow.
• Winter Pond: three pieces of ice, 16.5x18, 17.5x17.5 and 18x12.5 cm, for frozen water that may or may not hold.
• Winter Crater: three shelled-ground pieces in the same family of sizes, for the front line in January.

Frozen river
Seven linking segments, each 30 cm long and about 10 cm wide at the join, that run a frozen river across a corner or the full length of a 6'x4' table.

Winter muddy roads
Seventeen pieces with a crossroads, T-junctions, turns and straights, in 15 mm (7.6 cm wide) for Flames of War and Team Yankee winter fronts, or 28 mm (16.2 cm wide) for Bolt Action and other 28 mm games.
Imagine a Frostgrave table on an Ice mat: a frozen pond in the centre, Winter Forest on both flanks, the river cutting off one corner, and two warbands arguing about whether the ice holds.

Why rubber
Every piece is 2 mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges. The rubber backing grips the mat, the print keeps the snow white game after game, and the whole set rolls up with the mat.
