2D Lava Terrains

Lava is the terrain piece that makes route planning honest. Nobody argues about whether a river of magma blocks movement, and nobody marches straight across it to save an inch. These two sets put that decision on any table without a single piece of resin.

Lava Rivers
Seven connecting segments, each 12" / 30 cm long and about 2.5" / 10 cm wide at the join, that build a lava river as short or as sprawling as the mission needs: a trickle cutting one corner, or a full channel splitting the table in half. Per its product page the set is compatible with Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40,000, Star Wars: Legion and Warmachine & Hordes.

Lava Lakes
Three molten pools in 13.5x16.6, 16.6x15.6 and 17.3x17.3 cm. One pool is a single hazard to play around; all three spread a volcanic field across a wider stretch of table. Per its product page the set is compatible with Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and other fantasy and sci-fi systems. Drop the lakes along the river and the table becomes the mouth of a volcano.

Why flat rubber
Every piece is 2 mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges. The rubber backing keeps each piece exactly where you placed it, a stray elbow does not shift the kill zone mid-turn, and the whole set rolls flat for the drive to the club, where rigid resin lava risks chipping a corner in the boot.

Imagine the table on a Lava battle mat: the river glowing down the centre line, a lake guarding each objective, and two armies funnelled into the one safe crossing.

Our terrain is compatible with the games named above but is not an official product of any publisher. Browse the lava terrain.
