Mats Compatible with Kill Team

Why does a Kill Team mat need to be exactly 30"x22"? Because Kill Team is decided at short range. A few inches decide whether an operative reaches cover, gets a clean shot or controls an objective, and a board that is too big or too small changes the mission before the first activation.

The size: the killzone, not a cut-down battlefield
Every mat in this collection has a 30"x22" / 76x56 cm play area - the standard Kill Team killzone. You get the full table the game is built around, so deployment zones, objective spacing and lines of fire work the way the mission intends. No folded corners of a bigger 40K mat, no tape lines.

The setting: ruins and machinery, where Kill Team lives
Kill Team is a game of broken walls, gantries and corridors, so the designs follow that:

  • Shattered cities: Aftermatch Plaza with its cracked stone slabs, the burnt-out blocks of Ruined Streets and Ruined City, and the industrial wreckage of Fallen City.
  • Lost ruins: the technological necropolis of Deathworld Tomb and the sun-baked broken walls of Desert Ruin.
  • Industrial killzones: the cracked walkways and hazard stripes of the Necromunda underhive, or the rust and scrap of Junktown.

Picture two operatives trading shots across the hazard stripes of an underhive walkway - the mat already tells the story before you place a single piece of terrain.

The material: rubber that survives the campaign
The mats have a rubber backing under a polyester fabric with a sublimation print. The base grips the table, so terrain and operatives stay where you put them. The soft surface protects miniatures when they topple, the laser-cut edges do not fray, and the mat rolls up into a kit bag next to your models. Many designs come single-sided or double-sided - check the options on each product page.

The finishing touch: objective markers sized for Kill Team
Full-size 40K objective markers look oversized on a killzone. Our Kill Team objective sets hold 3 rubber markers, 9.1 cm across, in four designs: Core, Inner Circle, Target Acquired and Stains and Stripes.

All our mats are compatible with Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team and are not official Games Workshop products. Not sure which killzone fits your teams? Get in touch via the contact page and we will help you choose. Browse the boards below and set up your next mission.
