Mats Compatible with Warmachine and Hordes

Warmachine and Hordes live where old stone cities meet smoking industry: cobbled squares, foundry districts and battlefields torn up by steam-powered giants. The mats in this collection are chosen for exactly that blend of fantasy and machinery.

The size
Every mat here is 48"x48" / 122x122 cm - the square 4'x4' table Warmachine and Hordes are played on. It covers the play area edge to edge, with nothing to tape off.

Cobbled cities

  • Gates of Menoth: an intricate stone plaza with wear marks and a touch of greenery.
  • Paved Plaza: worn cobblestones and old city architecture.
  • Keep Yard: irregular stone slabs with moss between the cracks.

After the battle

  • Aftermatch Plaza: cracked stone slabs, blast marks and debris.
  • Ruined City: shattered buildings and charred ground.

Industry and scrap

  • Fallen City: ruined factories, cracked roads and yellow-black warning stripes.
  • Junktown: rusty wrecks, oil stains and scattered industrial debris.

Imagine a heavy warjack shouldering through the wreckage of Junktown while a warlock's beasts circle the cobbles of Gates of Menoth on the next table.

How to choose
Think about the game you want. Open plazas like Paved Plaza and Gates of Menoth keep sightlines long and reward bold charges. Ruins and scrap such as Ruined City, Fallen City and Junktown suggest a denser table, where terrain breaks up lines of fire and every flank matters. If your group plays both ways, a double-sided mat covers two styles in one roll.

Built for tournament weekends
Every mat is rubber with a polyester fabric top and a sublimation print. The base grips the table so models and terrain stay put, the soft surface protects painted miniatures and the laser-cut edges do not fray. Many designs come single-sided or double-sided.

Our mats are compatible with Warmachine and Hordes but are not official Privateer Press or Steamforged Games products. Browse the mats and choose your battlefield.
