Rubber 2D terrain set - Hills - compatible with Age of Sigmar, The Old World & The 9th Age
Compatible with
Whoever holds the high ground usually wins the argument as well as the fight. This Hills 2D terrain set lays three raised-ground pieces straight onto your battle mat, and it's compatible with Age of Sigmar, SAGA, The 9th Age and Warhammer: The Old World.
Key features of the Hills terrain set
- Three hill-pattern pieces - sized 18x12.5cm, 16.5x18cm and 17.5x17.5cm, enough variety to break up open ground with rolling elevation.
- 2mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges - a durable surface that keeps its shape game after game.
- Anti-slip rubber backing - stays exactly where you place it on the mat through a full game.
- Works across different games - compatible with Age of Sigmar, and equally suited to A Song of Ice and Fire, Warmachine & Hordes, SAGA, The 9th Age and Warhammer: The Old World tables (unofficial, not licensed by any publisher).
Where the Hills terrain set earns its place
Elevation and high-ground missions - raised terrain gives ranged units a reason to fight for position instead of every model standing on the same flat ground.
A multi-system terrain shelf - the same three pieces work across Age of Sigmar and A Song of Ice and Fire, or Warmachine & Hordes, instead of buying a separate hill set per game.
Club and tournament play - the rubber pieces roll or fold flat alongside your battle mat instead of needing separate storage.
What makes the Hills terrain set different
Rigid or foam hill terrain adds real height to the table but takes up a shelf between games and travels awkwardly in a bag. These pieces represent the same tactical high ground as a flat rubber set that rolls up with your mat, trading physical elevation for something that actually survives the trip to the club.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an officially licensed product for any of these games?
No - the Hills set is compatible with Age of Sigmar, A Song of Ice and Fire, Warmachine & Hordes, SAGA, The 9th Age and Warhammer: The Old World in scale and use, but it isn't licensed or produced by any of their publishers.
How many pieces are in the set and what sizes are they?
Three pieces: 18x12.5cm, 16.5x18cm, and 17.5x17.5cm.
Can this be combined with other 2D terrain sets?
Yes - the pieces lay directly on any battle mat, so you can mix them with other modular 2D terrain such as rivers, forests, or objective markers on the same table.
FAQ
How long does it take to make and send my order?
Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.
How long does delivery take?
Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.
How much does shipping cost?
Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.
Do you ship outside Europe?
Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.
Will the product look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.
Is the size exactly as listed?
Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.
Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?
Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.
What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?
File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.
Can I cancel my order before it arrives?
Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
