Wargame Mat 10,5"x48" / 27x122 cm - Hits and Crits - Tactical board - compatible with A Song of Ice and Fire
Compatible with
Halfway through a Song of Ice and Fire game, someone always ends up eyeballing formation zones off the edge of the rulebook or squinting at a printed reference sheet. The Hits and Crits tactical board gives those zones their own dedicated strip on the table - 10.5"x48" / 27x122 cm - so tracking your army's tactical state stops being a side quest.
Key features of the Hits and Crits tactical board
- A strip built for one job - at 10.5"x48" / 27x122 cm, it sits alongside your main battle mat instead of competing with it for table space, so your formation tracking stays in one place instead of drifting across notebooks or phone apps.
- Compatible with A Song of Ice and Fire® - part of the Hits and Crits line, made to match the tactical system this game runs, without claiming to be an official CMON product.
- Non-slip base - stays put next to your main mat through a full game, so a table bump doesn't send your tactical reference sliding into your opponent's deployment zone.
- Exclusive to Playmats.eu - the Hits and Crits line is our in-house design, made for players who wanted a dedicated board for this game and couldn't find one elsewhere.
Where it fits at the table
Tournament and league play - a fixed, consistent reference next to the main mat means less back-and-forth over "which zone is that unit in" and more time actually playing.
Narrow tables and shared spaces - the 10.5" width is built to sit beside a battle mat without needing extra table depth, useful at a club table or a kitchen table that's already crowded with terrain.
Regular game nights - one board that stays in your kit bag next to your main mat, so you're not reprinting or laminating a paper reference sheet before every session.
What makes the Hits and Crits tactical board different
Most tactical references for this game are paper inserts or printed sheets that curl, tear, or slide the first time a sleeve brushes past them. The Hits and Crits board is a dedicated mat instead - non-slip, sized to sit next to your battlefield rather than on top of it, and part of a line built specifically around A Song of Ice and Fire's own tactical system instead of a generic gaming accessory repurposed for it.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an official A Song of Ice and Fire product?
No - the Hits and Crits tactical board is compatible with A Song of Ice and Fire®, made to fit the game's tactical system, but it is not an official CMON product and isn't licensed by them.
How much table space does the tactical board need?
It measures 10.5"x48" / 27x122 cm, a narrow strip meant to sit alongside your main battle mat rather than replace it, so plan for that extra width next to your battlefield.
Does it stay in place during play?
Yes - it has a non-slip base, so it stays put next to your main mat through a full game instead of sliding when the table gets bumped.
FAQ
How long does it take to make and send my order?
Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.
How long does delivery take?
Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.
How much does shipping cost?
Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.
Do you ship outside Europe?
Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.
Will the product look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.
Is the size exactly as listed?
Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.
Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?
Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.
What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?
File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.
Can I cancel my order before it arrives?
Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
