Most universal mats put a texture, a scene or a theme under the box. The solid color finishes do the opposite: a calm, even surface that sits behind whatever game is on it tonight instead of competing with it, in the same 47"x31.5" / 120x80 cm format as the rest of the Universal Board Game Mats range.

Four finishes, one calm background
Gray Smoke and Red Smoke give a soft, smoky gradient in neutral and warm tones. Green Smoke carries the same soft gradient in a cooler, muted green. All four stay quiet enough that worker-placement cubes, cards and dice read clearly against them, whatever the game’s own color palette.

Universal, not themed to one box
A solid finish carries no printed layout and no franchise artwork, so the same mat serves a heavy eurogame tonight and a family game tomorrow without looking out of place either time.

Why rubber
2 mm natural rubber with a single-sided sublimation print and laser-cut edges. The rubber base grips the table so the board stops creeping, the soft top lets cards slide and lift cleanly, and the mat rolls or folds away between game nights.
