RPG Mats Grass

GMs buy a dungeon mat for the finale, and then run twelve sessions of roads, forests, farms and riverbanks to get there. The Grass mat covers those twelve sessions. A realistic meadow print does the scenery, the grid does the tactics, and the marker does whatever tonight’s map needs: a treeline here, a wagon there, a river in one stroke.

Built for the outdoor encounter
The grass print reads instantly as open ground, which makes it the default surface for travel encounters, ambushes, field battles and village outskirts. Draw structures and terrain over it, resolve the fight, wipe it clean, and the next random encounter has a fresh meadow waiting.

Two sizes, two grids
50x50 cm / 20" suits a single skirmish on a small table; 80x80 cm / 31.5" holds a running battle with room to retreat. Each comes with a square grid for standard movement or a hexagonal grid for hex-counting systems. You pick one size and one grid at purchase.

The build
Durable 0.7 mm PVC with a dry-erase surface, per the product card: thin enough to roll compact and carry to the session, tough enough to survive a campaign of drawing and erasing. Compatible with Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer RPG, and at home in any system that fights outdoors on a grid.

Trusted at a lot of tables
The Grass mat is one of our best-reviewed products: our Etsy storefront listing carries a 4.9 out of 5 average from over 2,500 ratings.

Imagine the road ambush: the party mid-march, the GM draws two hedges and a cart, and the goblins have initiative before anyone finishes their coffee.

Our mat is compatible with the games named but is not an official product of their publishers. Pick your size and grid.
