RPG Mats Papyrus

There is a reason fantasy maps are drawn on parchment: the material is half the mood. The Papyrus Dry-Wipe Mat borrows that trick for the game table. Whatever the GM sketches on it, a corridor, a coastline, three rooms and a trap, instantly reads as a page from an explorer’s journal rather than lines on plastic.

An essential tool for the game master
The papyrus texture is the most atmospheric of our dry-erase backgrounds while staying perfectly legible: marker lines sit dark and crisp on the warm parchment tone. It suits any scene, indoors or out, which is why many GMs run entire campaigns on this one surface, redrawing the world session by session. The grid keeps combat precise, the texture keeps immersion intact, and the party stops asking whether that rectangle is a tavern or a tomb, because on parchment it convincingly looks like either.

Two sizes, two grids
The 50 cm x 50 cm / 20" square grid mat covers an encounter on any table; 80x80 cm / 31.5" holds a full dungeon level. Each size comes with a square grid for standard movement or a hexagonal grid for hex-based systems, and you pick one size and one grid at purchase.

The build
Made of durable 0.7 mm thick PVC with a reusable dry-erase surface, per the product card: draw with any whiteboard marker, wipe clean, draw the next chapter.
