  • Dungeons & Dragons

The torches flicker, the door creaks open, and the whole table leans in to see what's waiting in the next chamber. The Dungeon mat gives you a cracked stone dungeon floor already printed under a 1-inch square grid, so the crawl is on the table before the first player steps inside.

Key features of the Dungeon mat

  • Cracked stone dungeon floor - a high-resolution print of weathered stone that sets an eerie underground scene without you drawing the setting from scratch.
  • 1-inch square grid - matches standard tactical movement and range rules, so distances and positioning read the way your players expect.
  • 0.7 mm thick PVC, dry-erase surface - mark doors, obstacles, and traps, then wipe it clean for the next room.
  • 80x80 cm (31.5" x 31.5") play area - the size for sprawling dungeon crawls: several chambers and the corridors between them on one mat.
  • Dry-erase marker included - you can start drawing the first room straight out of the packaging.
  • Rollable and easy to store - the thin mat rolls up between sessions, so it travels to the next game with you.

Where it fits in your sessions

Dungeon crawls - for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or any system using square-grid movement, you reveal the dungeon room by room as the party advances, and the 80x80 cm size holds a whole wing of it at once.

Trap and obstacle planning - mark pressure plates, secret doors, and barricades in the moment, then wipe them away once the party has dealt with them.

Larger groups - the bigger play area leaves space for a full table's miniatures, character sheets, and dice without anyone crowding the map.

What makes the Dungeon mat different

A printed battle map shows you the same dungeon every time, and a blank dry-erase mat makes you draw the stone yourself. The Dungeon mat starts from a ready dungeon floor and still wipes clean, so the layout is yours to change while the setting stays on the table. At 80x80 cm it also gives you noticeably more room than the 50x50 cm version of the same mat.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as the hex-grid Dungeon mat?

No - this version uses a square grid, matching standard tactical movement rules. The Dungeon mat is also offered with a hexagonal grid, built for systems that track movement in hexes.

Is the 80x80 cm size available with both grid types?

Yes - the Dungeon mat comes in 50x50 cm and 80x80 cm, each with a square or hexagonal grid option. This listing is the 80x80 cm mat with the square grid.

Do I get one mat or a set?

One mat - you choose the size and grid type, and the price is for that single mat. It comes with a dry-erase marker.

Can I fold the mat for storage?

No - dry-erase mats shouldn't be folded, since this can damage the dry-erase coating. The mat is thin and rolls up easily, so store and carry it rolled.

FAQ

How long does it take to make and send my order?

Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.

How long does delivery take?

Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.

How much does shipping cost?

Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.

Do you ship outside Europe?

Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.

Will I get an invoice?

Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.

Will the product look exactly like the photos?

Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.

Is the size exactly as listed?

Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.

Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?

Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.

What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?

File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.

Can I cancel my order before it arrives?

Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
