Hits & Crits Mats

A Song of Ice and Fire is played on a 4'x4' table with the deployment zones, objectives and tactics board set out before the first turn. On a plain mat that means a tape measure, a rulebook diagram and a cardboard board that slides. The Hits & Crits mats print all of it into the battlefield, drawn by tournament players, so both sides see the mission layout the moment the mat is unrolled.

The 48"x48" mats
A 122x122 cm play area (124.5x124.5 cm with the print margin) in six Westeros terrains:

• Bloody Dawn: autumn fields, fallen leaves and blood, matched to the Bloody Dawn terrain set.
• Fields of War: overgrown fields and worn paths for the Riverlands.
• Crossroads: a cobbled road junction for the Kingsroad.
• Rocky Desert: cracked ground for Dorne.
• War of the North: cold ground where the Starks fight.
• Ice: the frozen land beyond the Wall.
  Choose the standard or advanced tactics board, both printed in. Players who already own a separate tactical board can take the same mat without the board.

The Epic mat

Imagine a tournament hall: the organiser unrolls twenty mats, every table shows the same zones and objectives, and round one starts on time.

Pairs with the rest of the line
Each terrain has a matching Hits & Crits tactical board and, for Bloody Dawn and Desert Vengeance, a 20-piece 2D terrain set printed in the same palette, so the whole table reads as one piece.

Why rubber
2 mm natural rubber with a single-sided polyester print and laser-cut edges. The base grips the table, movement trays stay level on the flat surface, the print survives a season of events and the mat rolls up for the bag.

Hits & Crits mats are compatible with A Song of Ice and Fire but are not official CMON products.
