Mats Compatible with Trench Crusade

Trench Crusade is fought in mud, under artillery, against things that should not exist. The ground is part of the horror: churned earth, shattered trench lines, land scorched by hellfire. This collection gathers the mats that look like that war.

Two table sizes

• 48"x48" / 122x122 cm (4'x4'): the standard Trench Crusade table.
• 36"x36" / 91.5x91.5 cm (3'x3'): the smaller table for quicker games or tighter spaces.

Most designs below come in both sizes.

The trenches

• No Man’s Land: a claustrophobic maze of splintered logs, wrecked trench shuttering and dark, damp earth - the closest thing to the Western Front on a mat.
• Muddy Ground and Swamp: churned, waterlogged ground that slows every advance.

Hell on earth

• Red Blight: charred earth with glowing red veins pulsing beneath the crust.
• Green Blight: cracked ground split by sickly green fissures.
• Lava Fields and Volcanic World: molten rivers and hardened black lava for sectors where hell has fully broken through.

Cities lost to the war

• Ruined City, Aftermatch Plaza and Fallen City: shattered streets, blast craters and ruined factories.
• Deathworld Tomb: towering ruins and glowing channels of a dead civilisation.

Imagine a warband crawling through the mud of No Man’s Land towards an objective while the horizon glows on Red Blight - two fronts of the same eternal war.

How to choose
If you want the table to look like the setting’s artwork, start with No Man’s Land. If your warband fights for the other side, the Blight and lava designs put hell itself underfoot. Ruined cities give the densest terrain and the shortest sightlines - good for a brutal, close-range game.

Built for the long campaign
Every mat is rubber with a polyester fabric top and a sublimation print. The base grips the table so trench terrain and miniatures stay put, the soft surface protects painted models and the laser-cut edges do not fray. Many designs come single-sided or double-sided.
