Fantasy Card Mats

Half the pleasure of a fantasy card game is the theatre of it: the deck with a story, the tokens that match, the table that looks like somewhere a duel of mages could happen. A plain surface wastes that. These mats keep the theatre going between the cards.

Four designs

Runestone: carved runes under your deck, for players whose spells feel older than the rulebook.

Mystic Stone: arcane stonework with a quieter, more scholarly menace.

Kraken: the deep sea and what lives in it, for decks that drag opponents under.

Skullsplitter: a blunt, battle-worn design for aggression that does not apologise.

Each design is our own artwork, tied to no game or publisher, so the mat fits whatever you play: a trading card game on Tuesday, a fantasy deckbuilder on Friday, a long campaign box on the weekend. When the game rotates, the mat does not have to.

The tournament format
All four mats are 24"x14" / 61x35.5 cm, the standard playmat footprint used at card tables and events. There is room for a full setup: deck, discard, battlefield rows and a dice corner.

The build
2 mm natural rubber with a soft polyester top, a single-sided print and laser-cut edges. The base grips the table, sleeved cards slide and lift cleanly off the fabric surface, and the mat folds or rolls into the deck bag. After the match it wipes down with a damp cloth.

Imagine sitting down across from a Kraken mat: the game has a mood before a single land, resource or hero hits the table. Opponents read the mat the way they read sleeves and tokens: as a statement about how seriously you take the hobby.
