2D Industrial Terrains

Scenario play runs on zones: areas to control, contest and score. Most groups mark them with dice, tape or arguments. These sets print them instead: flat rubber zones with an industrial finish that read as part of the battlefield rather than an overlay on top of it.

Three finishes

  • Industrial: oil-stained factory ground, for tables where the machinery never stopped running.
  • Iron Kingdom: an iron-and-steam look that matches full-metal fantasy settings.
  • Pavement: worked stone for city streets, courtyards and anywhere civilisation poured a floor.

Each is a zone set compatible with Warmachine and Hordes per its product page, and the printed shapes serve as control zones, hazardous patches or scatter ground in any system that plays with marked areas.

Flat beats fiddly
The functional difference from 3D terrain is simple: miniatures STAND on these. A warjack in the middle of a zone does not balance on a pipe or knock over a chimney. The 2 mm natural rubber backing grips the mat, the polyester top carries the print, and laser-cut edges keep the shapes crisp. After the game the zones roll up inside the mat.

A niche with room
Industrial 2D terrain is rare: the market sells towers, walkways and pipes in plastic. If your table wants the industry without the crate, this is the shelf, and it weighs about as much as the rulebook.

Imagine the scenario: two zones printed in oil and iron, a warjack claiming one, and nobody arguing about where the area ends, because the edge is printed on it. The scenario clock keeps moving, the measuring tape stays in the bag, and the only grinding on the table is the fiction.

Our terrain is compatible with Warmachine and Hordes but is not an official Privateer Press product. Pick your finish.
