Universal Board Game Mats

A dedicated mat makes one game perfect. A universal mat makes every game better, and for most tables that is the stronger deal. The 47"x31.5" / 120x80 cm format covers a family board game with room for hands and tokens, hosts a card game for the whole table, and serves whatever the group brings next week.

Finishes, not franchises

• Solids and near-solids: Gray Smoke, Green Smoke, Red Smoke and Turquose Clouds give the table a calm, even background that never argues with the components.
• Wood: the warm classic that makes any game look like it was photographed for the rulebook.
• Stylised: Blue Nebula puts the night sky under a space game and Blue Scratches bring industrial character, Orange Grunge adds texture

Why a mat under a board game
The 2 mm natural rubber backing grips the table, so the board stops creeping when someone leans in. The soft polyester top lets cards slide and lift cleanly, dice land quietly, and thin tokens come up without fingernails. Laser-cut edges keep the mat sharp for years, and it rolls or folds away between game nights. A damp cloth erases the evidence of snacks, spills and the one friend who always talks with a cracker in hand.

Imagine the Sunday rotation: a deckbuilder at noon, a heavy euro after lunch, cards in the evening, and one Wood mat under all of it, looking like it was made for each game in turn. Guests assume the table was always this considered, and nobody mentions that the real trick cost less than one of the games on it.

All finishes are our own designs, tied to no game or publisher. Pick your surface.
