Mats Compatible with Bushido

Bushido compresses everything a wargame does into a 2'x2' square: positioning, terrain, bluff and a scenario clock that punishes hesitation. A table that small has nowhere to hide a bad surface, which is why Bushido players upgrade the mat before almost anything else.

Built around the game’s scenarios
Our Bushido-compatible mats put the setup into the print: deployment areas and objective markings are integrated into the artwork, so scenario play starts the moment the mat unrolls and placement debates end before they begin. On a table where a quarter inch matters, printed lines are not decoration, they are rules support.

Four grounds to fight over
The designs are Japanese-inspired environments in the spirit of the Jwar Isles: Fallen Leaves, Jade Reed Thicket, Bear Peaks and Muddy Crossing. Atmosphere first, function underneath, and each purchase is one mat in one chosen design. Matching Zen Garden zone pieces from our 2D terrain range dress the rest of the table in the same style.

The format
24"x24" / 61x61 cm is Bushido’s standard table, and it is also the most portable format we print: the mat rolls into a backpack and sets up anywhere two chairs face each other.

Why rubber
2 mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges. The base grips the table through a full scenario, the soft top is kind to painted warbands, and a damp cloth resets the battlefield after the session.

Imagine the league night: eight players, four gardens, and every scenario starting on time because nobody is drawing deployment zones with a tape measure. The organiser gets their evening back, and the players get one more round in.
