2D Fantasy & Forest Terrains

A rank-and-flank game lives on terrain: the wood that blocks a cavalry charge, the pond that anchors a flank, the hill that gives archers their line of sight. 3D forests fall over when a unit tries to stand in them. These flat rubber pieces mark the area, keep the models upright and still read as a forest from across the table.

Forests

  • Forest: three pieces of green woodland ground, 16.5x18, 17.5x17.5 and 17x13 cm, enough to lay a treeline without repeating a shape.
  • Winter Forest: the same three pieces under snow, for a frozen realm.
  • Burning Forest: woodland on fire, for the turn the wizard rolls a six.
  • The Old World Forest: a single Forest Elves wood to anchor a corner of a Warhammer: The Old World table.

Water, ground and weather

  • Pond and Swamp: three pieces each of still water or bogged ground, 16.5x18 to 18x12.5 cm.
  • Hills and Rough Terrain: three pieces of raised or broken ground for line of sight and difficult-terrain rules.
  • Fog: mist banks for scenarios where nobody can see the other side.
  • Stone Bridges and Wooden Bridges: 15x11 cm crossings for the pond, the river or the gap in the table.
  • House: a 13x15 cm building to turn a crossroads into a village.

Full tables in one box
The 9th Age tournament set has 22 pieces for a complete rank-and-flank layout, and the A Song of Ice and Fire set brings forests, palisades and corpse piles to Westeros, with wall sections sold separately.
Imagine a Kharadron gunline on a hill, a Forest on each flank, a Pond in the centre and the Burning Forest where the fireball landed: four sets, five minutes, and the Mortal Realms are on the table.

Why rubber terrain
Every piece is 2 mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges. The rubber backing grips the mat, so a wood stays where the scenario put it, and the whole collection rolls up with your mat.

Our terrain is compatible with the games named above but is not an official product of their publishers. Browse the fantasy terrain and plant your forests.
