Mats Compatible with Horus Heresy

The Horus Heresy is Warhammer at its biggest: full Legion forces, tank squadrons, Dreadnought talons and Primarchs on the table. Third edition sets the standard game on a 6'x4' table, with Zone Mortalis for close-quarters fighting on 4'x4'. This collection gathers our rubber mats in those two sizes, in the designs that fit a war among the Emperor’s own cities.

The full 6'x4' table of a standard Horus Heresy game. Five designs suit the setting:

• Ruined City and Ruined Streets: cracked pavements, rubble piles and collapsed blocks for street fighting between Legion squads.
• Aftermatch Plaza: a bombed-out square where the open ground is the killing field.
• Fallen City: a city cut through by industrial structures, the most 30K-looking ground we make.
• Imperial Warzone: a battlefield of imperial masonry and shattered fortifications.
  Imagine a Spartan rolling through the ruins of Fallen City with a Terminator squad on its heels, while Contemptors hold the plaza on the far side of the table: the whole 6'x4' is in play.

48"x48" / 122x122 cm: Zone Mortalis
Zone Mortalis trades open ground for corridors, bulkheads and blind corners. Three industrial designs give that feel on a 4'x4' mat: Necromunda with its hive-deck plating, Junktown with its scrap and machinery, and Fallen City for a ruined-city interior. Lay your Zone Mortalis walls on top and the mat does the floor.

Built for a long war
Each mat is rubber with a polyester fabric top and a sublimation print, so the ruins stay sharp through a whole campaign. The base grips the table under heavy resin tanks, the soft surface protects painted Astartes, and the laser-cut edges do not fray. Many designs come single-sided or double-sided. Roll it up after the game and it travels to the club in a bag.
