  • Warhammer 40k

Arguing about whether a ruin actually blocks line of sight wastes more time than the shooting phase itself. This 16-piece Forgeworks Area Terrain Footprints set covers every triangle, rectangle and line called for in Warhammer 40,000's 11th Edition tournament layouts, so nobody has to eyeball where a piece of terrain starts and ends.

Key features of the Forgeworks Area Terrain Footprints

  • 16 pieces covering every layout shape - 2 double-sided triangles (8"x11.5"), 2 long lines (2.5"x10"), 4 short lines (6"x2"), 4 medium rectangles (6"x4") and 4 large rectangles (7"x11.5"), enough to dress a full tournament table in one set.
  • Sized to official 11th Edition tournament specifications - dimensions match the layout guidance published in Warhammer Community's own tournament article.
  • 2mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges - the two triangular pieces are double-sided for extra layout flexibility, the rest single-sided.
  • Anti-slip rubber backing - stays exactly in place under the terrain piece through a full game.
  • Compatible with Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition - not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by Games Workshop.

Where the Forgeworks footprints earn their place

Tournament and matched play - the full set of five shapes in tournament-correct quantities means a table can be laid out to published specifications without piecing shapes together from several different products.

Club tables - the same footprint sizes travel with you, so terrain reads the same way on an unfamiliar table as it does at home.

Packs away with the mat - all 16 rubber pieces roll or fold flat alongside your battle mat instead of needing separate storage.

What makes the Forgeworks footprints different

Most terrain-footprint products on the market cover objective circles or a single shape, leaving players to improvise the rectangles and lines a tournament layout actually calls for. This set covers all five shapes named in the official 11th Edition tournament layout guidance, in the quantities a standard table needs, with the two triangular pieces printed double-sided for additional placement options.

FAQ

How long does it take to make and send my order?

Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.

How long does delivery take?

Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.

How much does shipping cost?

Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.

Do you ship outside Europe?

Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.

Will I get an invoice?

Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.

Will the product look exactly like the photos?

Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.

Is the size exactly as listed?

Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.

Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?

Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.

What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?

File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.

Can I cancel my order before it arrives?

Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
