RPG Mat 50x50 cm - Snow with square grid - compatible with Dungeons & Dragons
Compatible with
The wind picks up, the tracks in the snow lead straight toward the ridge, and the whole table goes quiet waiting to see what you reveal. The Snow mat puts a frozen landscape under a square grid, so a winter ambush is on the table before the first mini moves.
Key features of the Snow mat
- Snow-covered print - a frozen landscape of snowy fields and cracked, frostbitten ground, suited to tundras, mountain passes, and cursed frozen wastes.
- Square grid built in - matches standard tactical movement and range rules, so distances and positioning read the way your players expect.
- 0.7 mm thick PVC, dry-erase surface - mark footprints, ice patches, and hidden cave entrances, then wipe it clean for the next scene.
- 50x50 cm (20" x 20") play area - sized for a single winter encounter that sits comfortably next to character sheets, dice, and minis.
- Rollable and scratch-resistant - rolls up for transport, so it fits in a bag with the rest of your game night gear.
Where it fits in your sessions
Winter ambushes and tactical combat - for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or any system using square-grid movement, a fight on a frozen pass plays out directly on the snow print.
Improvised terrain - draw thin ice, a snowdrift, or a hidden cave mouth right onto the mat the moment the party wanders somewhere you hadn't planned.
Games away from home - the compact 50x50 cm size takes little table space, so it works at a crowded club table or a small kitchen table as well as at home.
What makes the Snow mat different
Plain white or gray dry-erase grids can stand in for snow, but they never look like it, and every frozen scene ends up looking like graph paper. The Snow mat prints the cold landscape under the grid itself, so the setting is already there and you only draw what changes: tracks, hazards, and the thing waiting in the drift. The same design is also offered in 80x80 cm when you need more room.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as the hex-grid Snow mat?
No - this version uses a square grid, matching standard tactical movement rules. The Snow mat is also offered with a hexagonal grid, built for systems that track movement in hexes.
Do I get one mat or a set?
One mat - you choose the size and grid type, and the price is for that single mat.
Can I fold the mat for storage?
No - dry-erase mats shouldn't be folded, since this can damage the dry-erase coating. The mat is rollable, so store and carry it rolled.
Is 50x50 cm big enough for a winter encounter?
It covers a single tactical encounter well - a mountain pass or a frozen clearing - alongside table space for character sheets, dice, and miniatures.
FAQ
How long does it take to make and send my order?
Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.
How long does delivery take?
Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.
How much does shipping cost?
Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.
Do you ship outside Europe?
Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.
Will the product look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.
Is the size exactly as listed?
Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.
Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?
Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.
What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?
File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.
Can I cancel my order before it arrives?
Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
