Mats Compatible with Stargrave

Stargrave’s crews salvage derelict ships, abandoned installations and the ruins of fallen empires, and its own rulebook gives two valid tables: a standard 36"x36" / 91x91 cm board, and a very small table option at 24"x24" / 61x61 cm for a quicker game. Neither size is a guess - both come from the publisher’s own text.

Two tables, one crew
The 36"x36" size is Stargrave’s main format, with room for a full warband to move between cover and objectives. The 24"x24" size is the game’s own named option for a very small table, sized for a quick solo or two-player run.

The setting: ruins, installations and deep space
At 36"x36", the full range applies for salvage among ruins, plus Blue Nebula for a crew operating in deep space. At 24"x24", the same ruined and industrial sci-fi designs are available; the deep-space Blue Nebula design is currently produced only at 36"x36" and larger.

Why rubber
2 mm natural rubber with a polyester print top and laser-cut edges. The mat lies perfectly flat against the table, so loot tokens and crew figures stay put while a scavenging run plays out, and the mat rolls up for the trip back to the ship.

Imagine the crew mid-salvage: a derelict colony laid out under their boots, the mat’s ruin lines marking exactly where the next ambush could come from.
