Starcraft: The Miniatures Game is still a new release, and players are already looking past the thin mat that ships in the starter box for something built to last a full campaign. The DeathWorld Tomb mat gives your table a 137x91,5 cm (54"x36") surface of ruined machinery and glowing energy channels - more room than a standard-format mat, without stepping up to a full tournament table.

Key features of the DeathWorld Tomb mat

  • 137x91,5 cm (54"x36") specialist size - more length than a standard-format mat, without the jump to a full tournament table.
  • DeathWorld Tomb print - towering ruins, glowing energy structures and symmetrical channels of a fallen technological empire, so the table has a setting instead of a blank surface.
  • Single-sided or double-sided rubber - single-sided keeps an anti-slip backing that holds the mat flat during play; double-sided gives a second printed side, without that backing.
  • 2mm natural rubber body - rolls or folds flat for storage between sessions.
  • Mechanically cut edges - standard finishing for a mat at this size.
  • Compatible with Starcraft Tabletop Miniature Game - unofficial, not licensed by Blizzard Entertainment or Archon Studio.

Where the DeathWorld Tomb mat fits

Full StarCraft TMG matches at home - the 54"x36" footprint gives both players room for units and structures beyond a standard-format mat, without needing a dedicated tournament table.

Upgrading past the starter-box mat - once you are playing regularly, a dedicated rubber surface holds up better than the thin mat included with the starter set.

Club and campaign nights - roll or fold it between sessions instead of storing a full-size table topper.

Most terrain sold for tabletop sci-fi wargames is cut to common formats - 44"x30" or full 6'x4' tournament tables. Starcraft Tabletop Miniature Game's ground scale sits in between, and this mat is sized specifically to that 54"x36" footprint rather than a generic wargaming size, so you are not trimming a mat down or living with excess overhang. The DeathWorld Tomb print - ruins of a fallen technological civilization threaded with glowing channels - is the same pattern Playmats.eu produces in other sizes; here it is cut and labelled specifically for the StarCraft TMG format instead.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official StarCraft product?

No - it is an unofficial mat, compatible with Starcraft Tabletop Miniature Game but not licensed or produced by Blizzard Entertainment or Archon Studio.

What is the DeathWorld Tomb design?

A sci-fi battlefield print showing the ruins of a fallen technological civilization, with glowing energy structures and symmetrical channels running across the surface.

Single-sided or double-sided rubber - which should I pick?

Single-sided keeps an anti-slip backing that holds the mat flat on the table. Double-sided gives you a second printed side to flip to, but without that anti-slip base underneath.

Why 54"x36" instead of a standard battle mat size?

It is a specialist size - more length than a standard-format mat, without stepping up to a full tournament table, which fits StarCraft TMG's ground scale.

How do I store it?

Fold or roll it between games. There is no rigid backing to crack or crease permanently.

FAQ

How long does it take to make and send my order?

Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.

How long does delivery take?

Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.

How much does shipping cost?

Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.

Do you ship outside Europe?

Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.

Will I get an invoice?

Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.

Will the product look exactly like the photos?

Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.

Is the size exactly as listed?

Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.

Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?

Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.

What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?

File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.

Can I cancel my order before it arrives?

Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
