Mat compatible with LEGO 19,6"x19,6" / 50x50 cm - City - rubber mat
Compatible with
Half the LEGO City build ends up on the floor before it's finished - stray bricks roll off the table, wheels disappear under the sofa, and the road you just snapped together shifts every time someone reaches for a piece. This 19,6"x19,6" / 50x50 cm rubber mat gives City sets one square, grippy surface to build on and land on when the session's over.
Key features of the City rubber mat
- 19,6"x19,6" / 50x50 cm square format - a symmetrical building area that fits the same on any side of the table, unlike the long rectangular mats most of the market sells.
- Rubber backing - sits flat on the table and resists sliding while you're pressing bricks together, so the build doesn't creep across the surface mid-session.
- City print - a themed surface built around LEGO City sets, so roads, vehicles and street builds have a backdrop that matches the set instead of a blank tabletop.
- Doubles as a containment zone - the raised edge of the mat keeps loose bricks, wheels and small parts from scattering off the table while you dig through the pile for that one piece.
Where the City mat fits
Weekend City builds - lay the mat down before you open the box, and the whole build - baseplate, sorted bricks, half-finished vehicle - stays contained in one square instead of spreading across the table.
Kids' building sessions - a defined, gripped surface makes it easier for younger builders to keep track of pieces and gives parents one spot to check before vacuuming the room.
Everyday desk use - when it's not covered in bricks, the same square surface works as an oversized mouse pad or a desk mat, so it doesn't have to live in a drawer between build sessions.
What makes the City mat different
Most building mats on the market - RebrickMat and similar - come in long rectangular formats (around 18"x26" up to 32"x16"), built to sit like a placemat in front of one builder. The City mat's 50x50 cm square format is a different shape by design: it works equally well from any side of the table, which matters more for LEGO City builds that tend to sprawl outward (roads, junctions, multiple vehicles) rather than stay confined to one corner.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an official LEGO product?
No - this mat is compatible with LEGO bricks and City-themed sets, but it is not an official LEGO product and is not licensed by or affiliated with the LEGO Group. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group.
What size is the mat?
19,6"x19,6" / 50x50 cm - a square format sized for building and sorting City sets in one contained area.
Will small LEGO pieces roll off the mat?
The mat's edge and rubber surface are built to keep loose bricks and small parts contained in the build area rather than scattering across the table, though very small pieces can still be nudged off during active building.
Can I use this mat for anything other than LEGO City sets?
Yes - the square rubber surface works for building with any compatible bricks, and doubles as a desk mat or oversized mouse pad when you're not building.
FAQ
How long does it take to make and send my order?
Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.
How long does delivery take?
Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.
How much does shipping cost?
Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.
Do you ship outside Europe?
Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.
Will the product look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.
Is the size exactly as listed?
Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.
Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?
Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.
What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?
File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.
Can I cancel my order before it arrives?
Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
