Terran 2D Zones Set - Rubber 2D Zones Compatible with Starcraft - 7.2"

Regular price 128,00 zł
SKU: T144

End of the round, a squad of Marines is huddled at the edge of Marker 3, and the ruler comes out again: is that base within 3" or not? The Terran 2D Zones Set answers before anyone asks. Its five rubber zones, 7.2" (18.5 cm) across and compatible with StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game, put the 32 mm Mission Marker in the middle and show the 3" contest range around it.

Key features of the Terran 2D Zones Set

  • Cut around the 32 mm Mission Marker - each zone has a 32 mm opening in the middle, the diameter the rules give for Mission Markers, so the marker you already play with sits right inside it.
  • The 3" contest range on the table - from the edge of the opening to the outer edge is about 3" (7.6 cm), and the rules measure to the marker's nearest edge, so a base touching the zone is within 3" of the marker.
  • Numbered and colour-coded like the markers - the zones carry the numbers 1 to 5 and follow the game's colour code: red for 1 and 3, blue for 2 and 4, and a separate colour for the neutral marker 5.
  • Terran-themed print on 2 mm rubber - natural rubber with a printed polyester top, laser-cut edges and a non-slip underside, so models can stand on the zone and it stays where the deployment card put it.
  • Five zones, one for every marker - the game numbers its Mission Markers from 1 to 5, and the set covers all of them, whether you play a Skirmish, Standard or Grand Offensive game.

Where the Terran 2D Zones Set fits

The Scoring Phase, round after round - control goes to the player whose contesting units add up to the higher Current Supply Value, so with five zones down you see at a glance which units are in the count and only check line of sight, elevation and coherency for those.

Supply fights over a single marker - Marines, Marauders and Medics pile onto marker 5 against a Zerg brood. The rules hand the marker to the bigger Supply total, not the bigger crowd, and the ring shows whose units are close enough to count.

First games with the starter set - the Two Player Starter Set puts Terrans against Zerg, and its numbered markers are the 32 mm size the openings are cut for, so new players see the 3" range on the battlefield instead of learning it from the rulebook.

What makes the Terran 2D Zones Set different

The starter set comes with numbered cardboard Mission Markers and a ruler, and community range tools, such as 3D-printed rulers, measure 3" from one base at a time. Neoprene zones made for Warhammer 40,000 are cut around a 40 mm objective (3" + 40 mm + 3", about 19.2 cm), so with StarCraft's 32 mm marker their ring comes out about 4 mm too wide on every side. The Terran 2D Zones Set is cut for this game instead: 18.5 cm across, a 32 mm opening and a 3" ring, numbered and colour-coded like the markers, in the same format as the Protoss 2D Zones Set, so a Terran player gets zones in their own army's style.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Terran 2D Zones Set an official StarCraft product?

No - Playmats.eu makes it to be compatible with StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game; Blizzard Entertainment and Archon Studio don't produce or license it.

Do the official Mission Markers fit in the middle?

Yes - the rulebook makes Mission Markers 32 mm across, and that's the size of the opening, so the marker from your starter set sits inside the zone and can still be flipped between its Activated and Deactivated sides.

If a base touches the zone, does that unit contest the marker?

It's within 3", which is one of the conditions. The unit also needs line of sight to the marker, the same elevation and coherency, and Flying or Burrowed units can't contest at all.

Can I use these zones for Warhammer 40,000?

Not as a range guide - 40K objectives are 40 mm, so they don't fit the 32 mm opening, and the ring would come out about 4 mm short. For 40K, Playmats.eu makes 7.6" (19.3 cm) rubber zones.

How many zones are in the set?

Five, numbered 1 to 5 - one for each numbered Mission Marker.

FAQ

How long does it take to make and send my order?

Products from our regular offer are usually made and handed to the carrier within up to 10 business days of your order. If your order needs more time, we let you know by email. Orders paid by bank transfer go into production once the payment reaches us.

How long does delivery take?

Courier shipments within Europe arrive within 3 to 5 business days of dispatch. Parcel post can take up to 2 weeks within the European Union and more than a month outside it. Every order gets a tracking link, so you can follow the parcel all the way to your table.

How much does shipping cost?

Free shipping from 200 EUR within the EU and from 400 USD outside the EU. Below these thresholds, delivery costs depend on the destination and parcel weight. The exact price is shown at checkout.

Do you ship outside Europe?

Yes. Besides Europe, we ship by courier to the United States, Canada and Asia. Courier prices outside Europe depend on the destination and the weight of the parcel and are shown in the cart before you pay.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay online through Stripe or PayPal, which covers credit cards and many popular banking systems, or by bank transfer. Unpaid bank transfer orders are cancelled five business days after they are placed. All prices in the store are gross prices in euro.

Will I get an invoice?

Yes. On request we issue a receipt or a VAT invoice for your order. It goes into the parcel or arrives by email as a PDF file, sent to the address you gave when ordering.

Will the product look exactly like the photos?

Very close, but not always identical. Phones and monitors show colours in RGB, and each screen renders them a little differently depending on brightness and settings. We print in CMYK with our own calibration and match the print to the design as closely as possible.

Is the size exactly as listed?

Almost. Our materials are cut at high temperatures, so the final dimensions of a mat can differ by up to +/- 5 mm from the listed size. On a gaming table this difference has no effect on play, deployment zones or card layouts.

Can I return this product if it is not right for my table?

Yes. You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by sending us the return form. You cover the cost of sending the product back, and we refund your payment, including the original standard delivery cost. Custom products made to your own design cannot be returned this way.

What if my order arrives damaged or I get the wrong product?

File a complaint with your order number, a short description and photos of the problem. You can choose a refund of the price plus delivery or an exchange for a new or correct product, and we cover the shipping both ways. We respond to every complaint within 14 days.

Can I cancel my order before it arrives?

Yes. You can withdraw from the order at any point until you receive it by sending us a statement, for example the return form. This does not shorten your 14-day right to return the product after delivery.
